Author Guidelines

SCOPE

Manuscripts are the results of research (research article), Islamic legal thought studies (conceptual paper), judgement review / ijtihad / fatwa (case review).

LANGUAGE

Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian, Arabic, and English.

FORMAT

The manuscript text should be written as this article template. The manuscript should consist of fifteen (15) to twenty-five (20) pages including references. Articles should be typed in Cambria font with a font size of 12 and should be written on A4 size paper (210x297 mm), with the following custom margins: left 25 mm, right 20 mm, bottom 20 mm and top 30 mm.

TITTLE

The title should be informative and written concisely and clearly. It cannot have multiple interpretations, with a maximum of 20 words, typed in Cambria Font size 14.

AUTHOR'S NAME

Full names are written without titles. If there is more than one author, the names of the second author and so on. The author's institution is typed with the author's name along with the author's country of origin. Names and affiliations are written in Cambria, font size 11 and 1 spacing.

ABSTRACT

Written in Indonesian and English. Consists of 150-250 words and 3-5 keywords, typed in Cambria, font size 11 and 1 space.

KEYWORDS

Written in English 3-5 words or groups of words, written alphabetically.

INTRODUCTION

It explains the background, problems, importance of research, a brief literature review that is directly related to the research or previous findings that need to be developed, and ends with a paragraph on the research objectives. A balance must be maintained between the pure and applied aspects of the subject. The introduction is presented in the form of a paragraph of approximately 1000 words.

ISI

This manuscript consists of introduction, methods, results and discussion, and conclusions.

QUOTE

Must follow the format applied by APA 7Th Edition (American Psychological Association) with a straight typing model (without tabs).

CONCLUSION

The conclusion should be an answer to the research question, and not stated in a statistical sentence. The explanation is a flowing paragraph that contains the relationship between one content and another content. Use terms that have substantive meaning in the field of science and avoid statistical / methodological technical terms.

REFERENSI

All references used in the article must be listed in this section. In this section, there are at least 15 references published in the last 7 (seven) years for the book and 50% must be periodic articles published in the last 5 (five) years. Manuscripts are written using standard citation applications (Mendeley / Zetero). The format of writing follows the format applied by APA 7Th Edition (American Psychological Associative).

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Delivery files in Open Office, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • If available, the URL for the reference has been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; uses italics, not underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, images, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate point, not at the end.
  • The text complies with the style and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
