Abstract

Digital transformation in education requires the readiness of teachers and schools to integrate technology as part of the learning process. Teachers’ digital competence is an important factor in supporting the implementation of technology-based curricula. However, the level of readiness among schools still faces various challenges. This study aims to analyze teachers’ digital competence, school readiness in implementing technology-based curricula, and the relationship between these two variables. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research subjects consisted of 50 teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires based on indicators of teachers’ digital competence and school readiness, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity testing, reliability testing, Pearson correlation analysis, and simple linear regression. The results showed that teachers’ digital competence was categorized as high, with an average score of 4.12, while school readiness was categorized as moderately high, with an average score of 3.98. Correlation analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between teachers’ digital competence and school readiness (r = 0.682; p < 0.001), with a contribution of 46.5%. This study concludes that improving teachers’ digital competence plays an important role in strengthening school readiness to implement technology-based curricula.
